Multicultural Collective
Community, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
The Multicultural Collective is an intersectional community space for students, faculty, staff, & community members to promote social justice, coalition building, and liberation.
This place is a love letter to our community. We are inspired by civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, who teaches us that to be a collective is to always remember that “Nobody’s free until everybody is free”. This space is a seed that we envision growing into a more resilient, more expansive network of support for students from the margins. We hope you will grow solidarity and coalitions here. This a space for softness amidst a difficult world, a space for connection & community within & beyond our communities.
This space is equipped with computer stations, smart board, sound bar, and OWL. Additional tech is available for check out, such as: karaoke machine, portable projector, etc.
The Multicultural Collective will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-5:00pm. It is available for reservation by student organizations and on-campus departments on 25/Live. Student orgs should work with their advisor to reserve the space. For community partnerships, email [email protected].
