A BS in Chemistry will prepare you for a diversity of exciting careers in medicine, pharmaceutical science, environmental science, biotechnology, analytical chemistry, materials development, forensic science, food science, agriculture, chemical engineering, and more. Our well-rounded Chemistry curriculum includes courses in physics, mathematics, statistics, and biology that will prepare you for the MCAT, dental school, pharmacy school, veterinary school, graduate programs, or career opportunities in industry, non-profit organizations, or the government. Our Chemistry BS provides a foundation in the 5 major areas of chemistry: analytical, physical, inorganic, organic and biochemistry. Our flexible degree program allows you to study chemistry broadly or concentrate on the field of biochemistry. The Chemistry BS with a Biochemistry Concentration emphasizes the role of chemistry in biological systems and interactions of drugs.
