Academic Advising
Walk-In Advising
As always, the Academic Advising Center will be offering “walk-ins” during the first week of the semester. Walk-ins can be offered in person or via phone, on a first-come-first serve basis. However, those physically present in the Academic Advising Center will be given first priority. The waitlist queue will be managed through a virtual platform (linked below). Beginning at 8AM each day (Janurary 21st-24th), you can add yourself to the queue for a walk-in by clicking on the following link that aligns with your major.
Once the queue reaches maximum capacity for each day, it will be closed until the following day at 8AM. When the queue has closed, you will no longer see a blue “Join Waitlist” button. If you choose to have a phone appointment, to ensure that you get the most out of your phone appointment please be signed into a computer and have access to the internet, so that you and your Advisor can review documents together.
If you miss the Advisor’s first call, they will attempt to leave you a voice message to let you know they will try calling again in a few minutes. If you miss the Advisor’s second call, you may be removed from the queue.

All students are advised out of the Academic Advising Center, unless you are admitted to the School of Education or School of Nursing program. We recommend scheduling in-person visits to maximize our impact and your time. Phone appointments are also an option, but must be scheduled in advance during our regular appointment times.
