Accessibility Guide: As you prepare to attend the Diversity Summit, take a minute to review our new Accessibility Guide. This document aim to help attendees create inclusive presentations, plan their day, and identify their own access resources. The first few pages offer an overview of the guide’s topics. However, we understand a long document can be intimidating. Here are a few places to start, based on your role in the summit:
- If you are presenting, you may wish to start with “Questions to Guide Your Planning.” From there, you can choose the links and resources that serve your process.
- If you are attending, you may wish to start with “Building a Culture of Access,” which focuses on how we can all support accessibility during the event.
ASL: ASL interpretation & captioning will be provided for featured sessions. Individual interpreting available upon request via registration form at least 2 weeks before summit.
Bathrooms: Gender-neutral bathrooms are available in each building. Lactation pods are available in CEB 2nd floor & KAB 2nd floor.
Reset Room: Located in KAB 129. The Reset Room is a dedicated sensory-friendly space at the Southern Nevada Diversity Summit designed for participants who need a calm and peaceful environment. It offers a retreat from the bustling activities of the summit, providing a place for relaxation, reflection, or quiet work. It is open to all attendees throughout the event to support mental well-being and accessibility. Volunteers are available to assist with any needs.
Food: For in-person participants, grab-n-go breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided throughout the day.
