Welcome to the ASC
The Academic Success Center (ASC) serves to provide you with academic guidance through FREE peer-to-peer support, enhanced learning skills, and an atmosphere conducive to the learning process. Our services include individual or group Tutoring, Embedded Course Study Sessions, Academic Coaching (goal setting & study skills), and interactive Study Skills Workshops.

Campus Tutoring
We provide FREE in-person and virtual tutoring sessions for a variety of Nevada State courses. Tutors are current Nevada State students who have been successful in the course and complete extensive training in peer learning techniques.
NetTutor
If the ASC does not have a campus tutor available for your class or you need tutoring when the ASC is closed, please use NetTutor for additional support.

Hiring Timeline & Position Details
The Center hires current NSU students for the below positions, starting around mid-terms in the Fall and Spring. NOTE: position openings are based on available budget and course offerings.
