Orientation programs at Nevada State are designed to assist you with the transition process to college. Center for Educational Opportunity Programs
Educational Opportunity Programs empower students to realize their full potential and confidently pursue a college education. Through nationally recognized initiatives such as TRIO Student Support Services, Upward Bound, McNair Scholars, and GEAR UP, we provide personalized guidance, academic support, and mentorship every step of the way—from preparing for college to succeeding in graduate study. Designed to uplift first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students, these programs open doors, remove barriers, and create pathways to lasting success.
