Biography

Heidi Batiste, Ph.D. teaches strategic and human resource management in the Business Department at Nevada State University. Her courses integrate real-world organizational challenges, undergraduate research, and experiential learning to help students connect theory to practice and prepare for meaningful careers. Her research explores workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion, mentoring, and employee experiences during periods of crisis. Drawing on prior professional experience in human resources, operations, and management consulting, Dr. Batiste brings a practitioner-informed perspective to the classroom and to her scholarship.
