Learn ASL and Deaf Culture
Would you like to learn American Sign Language (ASL) and become more informed about Deaf culture? A Minor in Deaf Studies is a great way to improve your ASL and support the Deaf community.
The Minor in ASL consists of these courses:
- AM 145 American Sign Language I
- AM 146 American Sign Language II
- AM 147 American Sign Language III
- AM 148 American Sign Language IV
- AM 149 American Sign Language V
- AM 160 Fingerspelling, Numbers, and Glossing
- AM 253 Deaf Culture
- Three credits of upper division ASL.
