If you are interested in becoming a lawyer, you’ll need to complete a Bachelor’s degree and pursue an advanced degree in law. Many students’ first impulse is to study criminal justice or political science. However, law programs are typically willing to accept students with any major. In fact, they often like to see students who have different perspectives and backgrounds. The pre-law minor allows you to combine your existing major with a series of classes that will give you a strong foundation for law school.
