Program Overview

Nevada State University’s Spanish Heritage Minor is tailored for native or heritage Spanish speakers aiming to refine their linguistic abilities in academic and professional contexts. The program focuses on enhancing proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, allowing students to engage with the Spanish language more confidently and effectively. Courses such as Spanish for Heritage Speakers I & II, Third Year Spanish Composition and Conversation, and Writing for Spanish Heritage Speakers provide a structured approach to language development.
