Nevada State University celebrated a historic milestone on May 9, 2026, honoring its largest graduating class during the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Students joined family members, friends, faculty, and staff to commemorate the occasion as the university awarded 939 degrees to 915 graduates. The School of Nursing led all academic programs with 356 spring graduates.
This year’s commencement also marked a landmark achievement for the institution as Cheyenne Lange, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology, became Nevada State’s 10,000th graduate.
Nevada State continues to serve a diverse and driven student population, with more than 60% of students identifying as first-generation college students and more than 40% attending part-time.
“This institution doesn’t just graduate students — Nevada State University positions you for lifelong momentum,” said Acting President Dr. Amber Lopez Lasater.
