Where We Are
Nevada State University’s 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, A Framework for Action, was developed through an inclusive, university-wide process and now goes before the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents for approval.
The plan is Item 21 on the Board’s agenda at its quarterly meeting on Friday, September 4, 2026, where President Sandra B. Richtermeyer will present it alongside a revised institutional mission statement. The meeting takes place at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno and is open to the public, in person or online.
View the Board of Regents agenda (PDF); see Item 21, Nevada State University. Meeting materials are also posted on the NSHE Board of Regents upcoming meetings page.
Following Board action, this page will be updated with the approved plan, its three goals and twelve objectives, key performance indicators for each objective, and an annual progress tracker.
