The Nevada State School of Nursing’s Simulation Center has officially been granted Provisional Accreditation by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). This is the first healthcare simulation program in the state of Nevada dedicated to pre-licensure nursing education (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) to gain provisional accreditation. The review board found the program’s strengths to include our strong commitment to the psychological safety of the learners and standardized participants, strong support of the program by our senior leadership, and a strong commitment to the continued professional development of our staff.
