The goals of the Office of Student Conduct are to promote a campus environment that supports the educational mission of the University; to protect the University community from disruption and harm; to encourage appropriate standards of individual and group behavior; and to foster ethical standards and civic virtues.

Become a Hearing Board Member

Nevada State students have the right to have their conduct case adjudicated by a hearing board made up of students, staff, and faculty. If you are interested in being considered for a hearing board, please contact griffen.farrar@nevadastate.edu for more information.

BIT CARE Team Mission Statement

The Behavioral Intervention Team is a team of appointed staff and faculty who strive to promote individual wellbeing and success while prioritizing community safety.

The Behavioral Intervention Team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and responding to situations that pose, or may pose a threat to the safety and wellbeing of our campus community (i.e., students, faculty, staff and visitors).

The CARE Team is to assess, discuss, and recommend interventions to the appropriate campus departments, divisions or persons in response to students in crisis, such as, medical or psychological concerns, basic needs, behavior, or significant trauma.

Who is on the Team?

The BITCARE team is made up of staff from; Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, University Police Services, Finance and Business Operations, and the Office of the President.
