Nevada State University Foundation Scholarships support students across all three schools: Education, Nursing, and Liberal Arts, Sciences, & Business.

• The 2025-2026 application is now closed. Scholarship recipients will be notified by August.
• The 2026-2027 application will open on December 15, 2025 and will close on April 15, 2026.

Scholarships Awarded in 2024-2025

For Arts Majors

• AGEM Visual Media Scholarship – four awards totaling $4,000
• Desert Bloom Art Scholarship – one $500 award

For Business Majors

• Cameron Robinson Scholarship – one $1,000 award
• Icon Trust Scholarship – one $2,500 award
• Sletten Construction of Nevada – three awards totaling $6,000

For Education Majors

• Dietrich Trust Scholarship – five awards totaling $20,000
• Jeanne Soderquist Scholarship – one $1,000 award
• Marydean Martin Scholarship – three awards totaling $4,000
• Scottish Rite Scholarship – five awards totaling $3,000
• Teachers Now Scholarship – three awards totaling $3,000

For Deaf Studies Majors

• Gwen and Gregory Scholarship – five $1,000 awards
• Marie B. Simms Scholarship for Deaf Education – two $1,000 awards

For Law Enforcement Majors

• Charleston Hartfield Scholarship – two awards totaling $1,000

For Nursing Majors

• Amanda Howard Nursing Scholarship – five awards totaling $20,000
• Beverly Canfield Nursing Scholarship – one $1,000 award
• Dahn Nursing Scholarship – one $1,500 award
• Ed and Shauna Smith Nursing Scholarship – eighteen awards totaling $96,000

For STEM Majors

• AT&T Data Science Schoalrship – three awards totaling $3,750
• Cox Communications Scholarship – one $1,500 award
• Elaine Hodgson Scholarship – one $1,000 award
• Robert A. Swadell Memorial Scholarship – two awards totaling $4,000
• SIM Las Vegas Scholarship – one $2,500 award

For Various Majors

• Courage to Learn Scholarship – two $1,000 awards
