Payment Information
Tuition and fees are due by the due date(s) listed in the Student Account Center at payments.nevadastate.edu. If you are enrolled in a payment plan, you must make payments by the dates your installment plan specifies.
If you have past due charges, you will not be permitted to register for future classes, and any existing registration may be canceled until payment is arranged. This hold will apply at all NSHE institutions.
To review your account, make a payment, or explore payment plan options, please visit the Student Account Center.
Student Financial Responsibility
As a Nevada State University student, you are expected to comply with all policies and procedures
applicable to your registration, payment of fees, enrollment, and attendance. You can view all university
policies by clicking Policies at the bottom of any nevadastate.edu webpage. These responsibilities remain in
effect for as long as you are enrolled or have an outstanding balance due.
Financial Aid Payments
If you have enough accepted financial aid to cover your balance due, you do not need to make a payment prior to the financial aid disbursing (paying) to your account. You are responsible for paying any charges not covered by financial aid. You can view both your financial aid offer and your balance due in your MyNevadaState Student Center.
Payment Plans
Student Financial Services is committed to working with you to establish flexible payment arrangements that consider your financial situation. These arrangements may include installment plans or alternative payment options to help you meet your obligations without causing undue financial hardship.
You can set up a payment plan through the Student Account Center at payments.nevadastate.edu up to 45 days after the payment due date. Payment plans allow you to break your fees into manageable monthly installments rather than paying the entire semester balance at once. There is a non-refundable $25 fee to enroll in the payment plan.
Students whose accounts are more than 45 days past due will be referred to ECSI Recovery Select, a third-party billing servicer that provides billing and payment processing services. Nevada State University has formed this partnership with ECSI in order to provide continued customer service to assist you in resolving your account balance. You can pay your balance in full or set up monthly installments using a debit card or checking account (ACH). If you have a past-due balance and need assistance with registration for the current or upcoming semester, please contact us to discuss your options.
Nevada Prepaid Tuition Program
The Nevada Prepaid Tuition Program, administered by the Nevada State Treasurer through the Board of Trustees of the Nevada College Savings Plans, is a qualified 529 plan. Funds are deposited and managed in the Nevada Higher Education Tuition Trust Fund. Payment is made directly to the institution on behalf of the student.
An Intent to Enroll form, signed by both the purchaser and the beneficiary, must be submitted to the NPT Office 60 days prior to enrollment. This is filed one time, for each higher education institution the student attends. The NPT Office will notify Nevada State University to begin the tuition payment process on behalf of the beneficiary.
