One of the many advantages to being a student worker at NSC is the chance to participate in our annual Peer Support Training. This multi-day training event is open to student workers in all units and gives you the opportunity to:
- Meet other student workers
- Get up to date with any changes at the college
- Learn about the history and culture of NSC
- Receive training on the best practices in peer support
- Increase your understanding of diversity and inclusion
- Become a stronger leader
Typically, this training takes place each August, before the beginning of the fall semester.
